Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged between 18 and 70 years old
• People who have been diagnosed with colorectal cancer at stage III or stage IV
• People who have at least one tumour or lesion outside the brain that can be measured using standard imaging criteria
• People whose cancer has stopped responding to one or two previous standard treatments, who have relapsed, or who could not tolerate or chose not to continue one or two previous standard treatments
• People whose doctors expect them to live for at least 90 days
• People whose major organs (such as heart, liver, and kidneys) are functioning normally
• People who are willing to participate, have signed a consent form, and are able to attend follow-up appointments

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have taken part in another drug clinical trial within the 4 weeks before joining this study
• People with high blood pressure that is not well controlled by a single blood pressure medication, or who have heart conditions such as reduced blood flow to the heart, a history of heart attack, irregular heart rhythm, or heart function problems
• People with a history of substance abuse who are unable to stop, or people with a history of mental health disorders
• People with an active infection (fungal, bacterial, viral, or other) that cannot be controlled or that requires antibiotic treatment
• People who, after previous chemotherapy, still have moderate or serious ongoing side effects at the time of joining (confirm with trial site for exact grading details)
• People with a known history of HIV, or who test positive for hepatitis B or hepatitis C
• People who have an indwelling tube or drain in place, such as a bile duct drain or a fluid drain around the lungs, heart, or abdomen — though certain central venous lines and some other tubes may be considered acceptable by the trial doctors (confirm with trial site)
• People who have cancer that has spread to the brain, or who have a history of brain or nervous system conditions such as seizures, stroke, bleeding in the brain, dementia, or autoimmune diseases affecting the brain or nervous system
