Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are scheduled to receive chemotherapy for colorectal cancer, either before surgery, after surgery, or as a first treatment for advanced cancer, as determined by their oncology team
- People who are 65 years of age or older at the time of signing the consent form
- People who can speak and read Danish, and who are able to sign a consent form
- People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities is rated at a certain level by their doctor (a score of 2 or less on a standard scale used to measure how much cancer affects daily functioning — confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had chemotherapy within the last two years and still have lasting nerve damage, dizziness, vertigo, or balance problems as a result
- People with a serious physical disability that would prevent them from doing physical exercise
- People living with dementia, psychotic disorders, or other conditions affecting thinking or memory that would make it difficult to take part in an exercise-based trial
- People who are unable to sign a consent form
- People who have had an appointment at a geriatric (older adult specialist) outpatient clinic within the past six months
