Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with cancer in the right side of the colon (specifically the cecum, ascending colon, or hepatic flexure), confirmed by a tissue sample test
- People whose surgery will follow a specific surgical technique called Complete Mesocolic Excision (CME)
- People aged 18 to 90 years old
- People whose overall health and fitness for surgery falls within an acceptable range, as rated by a standard anaesthesia risk scale (ASA score of III or below)

- People whose general health makes the risk of anaesthesia too high (ASA score of IV or above)
- People who have previously had open abdominal surgery
- People with a Body Mass Index (BMI) over 35
- People with an active serious infection or blood poisoning at the time of the trial
- People with a physical or mental health condition that has not been treated or managed
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who are unlikely to be able to follow the trial's required procedures and schedule
- People who have not given signed consent to participate
