Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with multiple myeloma that has come back or stopped responding to treatment, and where the disease can still be detected and measured by standard tests.
- People who have already been through at least 3 previous rounds of treatment for multiple myeloma, which must have included three specific types of therapy: a proteasome inhibitor, an immunomodulatory drug, and an anti-CD38 antibody treatment (either alone or combined with other treatments).
- People whose overall health and ability to carry out daily activities is rated as good or mostly good on a standard medical scale (rated 0 or 1 out of 4).
- People whose blood, kidneys, liver, lungs, and heart are all functioning at an adequate level.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously received a type of treatment called CAR-T cell therapy, regardless of what it was targeting.
- People who have had an autologous stem cell transplant (using their own stem cells) within the 6 weeks before the treatment preparation phase of the trial begins.
- People who have had an allogeneic stem cell transplant (using another person's stem cells) within 6 months before the treatment preparation phase begins.
- People who have a known history of, or currently have, cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord.
- People who have had a stroke or seizure within 6 months of signing the trial consent form.
- People who have HIV or have tested positive for HIV antibodies.
- People who have received a live or live-attenuated vaccine within 4 weeks before the treatment preparation phase begins.
- People who have a Hepatitis B infection.
- People who have a Hepatitis C infection.
- People who have a known severe allergy or intolerance to the trial drug (CB-011) or any of its ingredients.
