  • You have been living with Type 1 diabetes for at least 6 months
  • You are between 18 and 64 years old
  • You speak English or Spanish
  • You have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder or a depressive mood disorder, confirmed through a structured interview as part of the study screening process

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a developmental or sensory disability that would make it difficult to take part in the study

  • You have received a type of talk therapy called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in the past year, or you are planning to start CBT
  • You have recently started a psychiatric medication and have not yet been on a stable dose for at least 6 weeks (this may be a temporary exclusion — confirm with trial site)
