- People who have already received cancer-related treatments such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or immunotherapy before surgery
- People who have taken antibiotics within the week before surgery
- People who are unwilling or unable to undergo surgical removal of the pancreatic cystic tumour
- People (or their family members) who are not willing to sign the research consent form
