Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a man or woman aged 18 or older who has been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes
- You have a diabetic foot ulcer (a wound on your foot related to diabetes) that is new and has not been infected, and is caused by nerve damage, poor blood flow, or both
- You are able to understand and follow spoken and written instructions in English
- You have full mental capacity and are able to give written consent to take part, including allowing medical photos to be taken for the trial or your care
- Your foot wound is a specific size — bigger than 10mm² but smaller than 100mm² (roughly between a small dot and a fingernail in area)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a known allergy or sensitivity to any ingredient in the Keneric Healthcare RTD Wound Dressing (the dressing used in this trial)
- You would have difficulty following the study plan, including wearing the pressure-relieving footwear or device provided every day
- There is any suspicion that your wound may be cancerous
- You have severely reduced blood flow to your lower leg or foot (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You are a woman who could become pregnant and are not using a medically approved form of contraception while sexually active
