Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer (a specific type called adenocarcinoma) that is either borderline removable by surgery, too advanced for surgery, or where surgery is not safe for medical reasons, confirmed by a tissue or cell sample.
• People who are generally well enough to carry out light activity and care for themselves, but may not be able to do heavy physical work (this is measured on a standard scale called ECOG, scores 0–1).
• People who have already received at least two months of chemotherapy before starting this trial's treatment.
• People whose cancer has spread to no more than 3 nearby lymph nodes (the nodes must be close to the main tumour and show signs of involvement on scans or confirmed by testing).
• People who are at least 18 years old.
• People who are able to pause their regular cancer medication for at least one week before and at least one week after the trial treatment (two weeks on each side is preferred).
• People who are able to hold their breath at the end of a breath out for at least 20 seconds, and able to do repeated breath-holds of at least 10 seconds when instructed.
• People whose tumour and surrounding areas can be clearly seen on the planning scan used for this trial's radiation treatment, as confirmed by the treating doctors.
• People who are able to understand and willing to sign an informed consent form (or have a legal representative do so on their behalf).

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have previously had radiation therapy in the same area of the body where this trial's treatment would be delivered.
• People who have received, are currently receiving, or are planning to receive any experimental (investigational) treatments for pancreatic cancer within 90 days before or after the trial's radiation treatment.
• People who have been diagnosed with another active cancer within the past year.
• People who have serious uncontrolled health conditions, such as an active infection, uncontrolled heart failure, unstable chest pain, irregular heart rhythms, or mental health or personal circumstances that would make it difficult to follow the trial requirements.
• People whose tumour has grown directly into the stomach or the first part of the small intestine (duodenum), as seen on scans or a camera examination.
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding. People who could become pregnant must have a negative pregnancy test within 14 days of entering the trial.
