Sub-study 1:

You are suspected of having pancreatic cancer (at an early to intermediate stage, not yet spread widely) and are scheduled for surgery to remove part of the pancreas, with or without receiving chemotherapy beforehand.

Sub-study 2:

You have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at an early to intermediate stage (not yet spread widely), AND

Who may not be able to join:

You have been diagnosed with another type of cancer (not counting certain minor skin cancers) within the last 3 years before joining the trial.
You are unlikely to be able to follow the trial's requirements, such as attending all required follow-up visits, or the trial doctor has concerns that you may not be able to complete the study for any other reason.
