Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 19 years or older who have ongoing, symptomatic atrial fibrillation (an irregular heart rhythm that hasn't stopped) and are scheduled for a catheter ablation procedure because medication has not controlled their condition

- People who are unable or unwilling to take blood-thinning medications (such as heparin or oral anticoagulants)
- People with severely reduced heart pumping function (the heart pumping less than 35% of its capacity)
- People with serious structural heart problems, such as severe leaking of the mitral heart valve, thickened heart muscle disease, or other severe heart valve conditions
- People who have a blood clot inside the heart
- People who have previously had open heart surgery
- People who had a heart attack or had a procedure to open blocked coronary arteries within the past three months
- People who had a stroke or a temporary stroke-like episode within the past six months
- People who have a planned heart or blood vessel procedure or surgery already scheduled
- People with severely uncontrolled high blood pressure or uncontrolled thyroid disease
- People with end-stage kidney disease who currently require or are expected to require dialysis
- People who are pregnant or who may become pregnant during the study period
- People who are currently taking medications that suppress the immune system, or who have undergone chemotherapy for cancer, autoimmune disease, organ transplant, or similar conditions
- People whose life expectancy is less than one year
