Who might be able to join this trial:
For Part 1:
- People who have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (the kind that doesn't have a known cause) by a neurologist, and whose condition is not at the most severe stage
- People who are in a stable overall health condition
- People who are able to walk on their own without any walking aids (such as a cane or walker)
For Part 2:
- People aged between 40 and 85 years old

- People who are able to walk independently for at least 10 minutes without stopping
Who may not be able to join:
For Part 1:
- People who show signs of significant memory or thinking difficulties, based on a standard cognitive test score below a certain level
- People who score below a certain level on a test that measures the ability to mentally picture movements in the mind
- People who are not able to recognise the 26 letters of the English alphabet
- People who have a history of conditions that could interfere with the study, such as epilepsy, metal implants in the brain, or deep brain stimulation devices
- People who have been diagnosed with another neurological condition or mental health disorder, such as stroke, anxiety disorder, or depression
- People who have been taking medications that affect the brain or nervous system (other than those prescribed for Parkinson's disease) in the past 3 months
For Part 2:
- People who show signs of significant memory or thinking difficulties, based on a standard cognitive test score below a certain level
- People who have a history of conditions that could interfere with the study, such as epilepsy, metal implants in the brain, or deep brain stimulation devices
- People who have been diagnosed with another neurological condition or mental health disorder, such as stroke, anxiety disorder, or depression
- People who have been taking medications that affect the brain or nervous system (other than those prescribed for Parkinson's disease) in the past 3 months
