Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older and are a US military veteran
- You have been diagnosed with long-term nerve pain (chronic neuropathic pain)
- You are currently a patient at the Cleveland VA Medical Center and receive care through their Pain Medicine Center
- You currently use a spinal cord stimulator (a device that sends mild electrical signals to reduce pain) that has reduced your pain by at least 50%, or you are currently in the process of trialing one as part of your regular care
- You are able to understand and agree to participate in the study on your own
- You are considered to be in a stable condition, both physically and mentally
Who may not be able to join:
- You have metal implants in your skull or an abnormally shaped skull
- You are pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study period
- You are unable to understand or agree to participate in the study on your own
