Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are over 18 years old
• People who have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease based on a specific set of diagnostic standards known as the United Kingdom Brain Bank criteria
• People who experience episodes of "freezing" while walking (where movement suddenly stops), rated at a moderate level on a standard Parkinson's assessment scale, meaning they can still walk without the help of a walking aid or other technical device

• People who have signed a written consent form agreeing to take part in the trial

Who may not be able to join:

• People who score below 20 out of 30 on a standard memory and thinking assessment called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA)
• People who have another neurological condition (such as a brain or nerve disorder) or a bone/joint condition that affects the way they walk
• Women who are pregnant, in labour, or breastfeeding
• People who are under a legal protection order, or whose legal decision-making capacity is managed by a court or guardian
• People who are currently receiving psychiatric care, or who are living in a health or social care facility for reasons unrelated to research
• People under 18 years of age
• People who are unable to give their own informed consent to participate
• People who are already taking part in another research study involving balance and/or walking
