Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged 30 or older who have at least one parent, sibling, or child who has been diagnosed with a blood-related condition such as MGUS, smouldering myeloma, multiple myeloma, Waldenström's Macroglobulinemia, or another blood cancer.
  • People aged 18 or older who have two or more close relatives (such as parents, siblings, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or cousins) who have been diagnosed with one of those blood-related conditions or another blood cancer.
  • People who are willing to give their written agreement to take part, with the understanding that they are free to withdraw from the trial at any time without it affecting their future medical care.

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have been diagnosed with any cancer — including blood cancers — that is causing symptoms and currently requires active treatment.
  • People who have already been diagnosed with a plasma cell condition such as MGUS, smouldering myeloma, multiple myeloma, or Waldenström's Macroglobulinemia.
  • People who test positive for pregnancy during the screening period or at any point before joining the trial.
