Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older, of any gender
- People whose tissue biopsy results confirm one of three specific types of pancreatic tumour: a non-functional pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, or solid pseudopapillary tumour
- People who have not received any cancer treatment before surgery, including chemotherapy, embolisation, ablation, radiotherapy, or targeted drug therapy
- People who do not have any clear medical reasons that would make surgery unsafe
- People who are able to follow the study schedule, attend follow-up appointments, and meet other study requirements
- People who choose to participate voluntarily and have signed a consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose biopsy results show a tumour type other than the three listed above
- People who currently have or have previously had any other type of cancer or tumour
- People who have been diagnosed with a hereditary (familial) cancer syndrome
- People who have already received cancer treatment before surgery, such as chemotherapy, embolisation, ablation, radiotherapy, or targeted drug therapy
- People who have a fever or who have received anti-inflammatory treatment within the 14 days before the study blood draw
- People who have received a blood transfusion within the 30 days before the study blood draw
- People who have had an organ transplant, or have received a bone marrow or stem cell transplant from another person (non-self donor)
- People whose general health makes a blood draw unsuitable
- People who the research team considers unsuitable for the study for any other medical reason (confirm with trial site)
