Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes for at least 1 year, based on symptoms or positive blood tests, and who are currently using insulin injections or a standard (non-automated) insulin pump

Who may not be able to join:
- People with severe eczema or other significant skin conditions that would make it difficult to wear a device on the skin
- People with ongoing medical conditions or who take regular medications (other than ADHD medications) that could interfere with diabetes management
- People with ongoing (chronic) seizures or severe developmental delays
- People who are currently using a hybrid closed-loop or automated insulin delivery system (a type of "smart" insulin pump that adjusts doses automatically)
- People with a significant mental health condition that, in the opinion of the research team, would make it difficult to use the study devices
