  • People who have an allergy to silicone patches.
  • People who have a cardiac pacemaker (a device implanted in the chest to regulate heartbeat).
  • People whose nerve symptoms are caused by diabetes rather than chemotherapy.
  • People whose nerve symptoms are related to HIV/AIDS.
  • People currently receiving treatment for a mental illness.
