Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been clinically diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on the left side of the pancreas that doctors have determined can be removed with surgery.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have already received treatment before surgery to shrink the tumor (such as chemotherapy or radiation given prior to an operation).
• People whose cancer has spread to the liver or to other parts of the body.
• People who have cancer appearing in more than one location, or whose cancer has come back after previous treatment.
• People who have a history of any other type of cancer.
• People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial at the same time.
