Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 2 years of age or older.
- People who have symptoms or complaints of coughing.
- People where the appropriate consent forms have been signed — by the person themselves if aged 18 or over, by a parent or legal guardian along with the person if aged 16 or 17, or by both a parent or legal guardian and the young person if aged between 5 and 15.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have significant muscle or bone conditions (such as severe scoliosis), neurological conditions (such as effects from a stroke), heart conditions (such as unstable angina), cognitive conditions (such as dementia), or other serious health conditions that would make it difficult to participate in data collection.
- People who have damaged or weakened skin in the upper abdomen area (just below the chest), where a small wearable device would need to be placed.
- People for whom the required consent or assent forms have not been completed as required.
