Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have a specific genetic mutation called KRAS G12C, confirmed through an approved diagnostic test.
- People who have been diagnosed with a locally advanced (cannot be surgically removed) or metastatic solid tumour (cancer that has spread), in any organ except the lung (non-small cell lung cancer) or bowel (colorectal cancer).
- People with pancreatic cancer whose cancer has continued to grow despite previous chemotherapy treatments (such as gemcitabine-based therapy or FOLFIRINOX/similar regimens), or who were unable to tolerate those treatments. People with other solid tumours must have already tried previous systemic (whole-body) treatments with limited success and have no other satisfactory treatment options available.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously been treated with a KRAS G12C inhibitor (a specific type of targeted cancer drug).
- People who have a history of certain lung conditions, including interstitial lung disease, non-infectious pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, or any uncontrolled lung disease that is causing symptoms.
- People who have uncontrolled fluid build-up around the lungs, around the heart, or in the abdomen.
- People whose heart's electrical activity shows a prolonged interval (called QTcF of 470 milliseconds or more) on three separate heart trace (ECG) readings.
- People who have taken a medication known to carry a risk of causing a specific dangerous heart rhythm problem (called torsades de pointes) within the 14 days before the first dose of the trial treatment.
