Who may be able to join
- People aged between 18 and 75 years old, of any gender.

Who may not be able to join

- People who have interstitial pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, or severe emphysema (serious lung conditions).
- People whose surgery requires a change in the planned surgical approach during the operation, such as switching to open chest surgery.
- People with a serious mental illness.
- People who have had a severe heart condition, heart failure, heart attack, or chest pain (angina) within the past 6 months.
- People with an active bacterial or fungal infection that is difficult to control.
- People who have taken part in another clinical trial within the 3 months before enrolling.
- People whose tissue sample after surgery shows that the tumor is non-cancerous (benign).
- People whose tissue sample after surgery shows a type of cancer that is not non-small cell lung cancer.
- People whose non-small cell lung cancer is confirmed during surgery but is found to have spread to the lining of the lungs or to have fluid containing cancer cells around the lungs.
