Who might be able to join this trial:
For people with pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery:
- You are at least 20 years old at the time of signing the consent form
- Your pancreatic cancer has been confirmed by a lab test to be a specific type called adenocarcinoma, diagnosed within the last 60 days, and is either at an advanced local stage or has spread to other parts of the body
- You are planning to receive chemotherapy (drug treatment) for your pancreatic cancer
- You have not had any previous treatment for pancreatic cancer
- You are willing to provide blood and tissue samples as required by the study
- Enough tissue samples are available for testing
- You are willing to sign a consent form to participate
For people with pancreatic cancer that can be removed by surgery:
- You are at least 20 years old at the time of signing the consent form
- Your pancreatic cancer has been confirmed by a lab test (using a needle guided by an internal scan) to be adenocarcinoma
- Your cancer is at an early to moderate stage (Stage IA, IB, IIA, or IIB), diagnosed within the last 60 days
- You are planning to have surgery to remove the cancer
- You have not had any previous treatment for pancreatic cancer
- You are willing to provide blood and tissue samples as required by the study
- Enough tissue samples are available for testing
- You are willing to sign a consent form to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- You have, or have had within the last 2 years, another type of cancer at the same time as or separately from your pancreatic cancer
- You are pregnant or planning to become pregnant
- The study doctor believes, for any reason, that joining the study would not be appropriate for you (confirm with trial site)
