Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are 18 years of age or older at the time of screening
  • You are currently pregnant (with a healthy pregnancy) or have given birth within the past year
  • You have been identified as being at risk for postpartum depression, which means at least ONE of the following applies to you: your score on a depression screening questionnaire (called the EPDS) was between 9 and 20; you have a history of depression or anxiety; or you have experienced 2 or more major stressful life events
  • You speak English or Spanish
  • You are currently receiving care at a UHealth clinic or a rural public health partner clinic

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a substance use disorder
  • You have been diagnosed with a serious mental health condition, such as psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or severe depression (including a very high score of over 20 on the EPDS screening questionnaire)
  • You currently experience severe anxiety or thoughts of suicide
  • You are currently taking any prescription medication for a mental health condition
