Who might be able to join this trial:
- People whose general physical condition is rated as fully active or restricted only in physically strenuous activity (this is measured using a standard health performance scale called ECOG, scores 0–1)
- People who have been confirmed by tissue testing to have locally advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery
- People with pancreatic cancer who have not yet received any systemic (whole-body) anti-cancer treatment
- People whose cancer either started in the pancreas or has at least one measurable tumour area, as defined by standard medical imaging guidelines
- People who are expected to live for more than 3 months
- People whose blood test results show that their white blood cells, platelets, and red blood cells are at or above certain minimum levels
- People whose liver function, kidney function, and certain other blood markers fall within acceptable ranges as determined by standard laboratory tests
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have been diagnosed with another type of cancer (other than pancreatic cancer) within the past three years
- People who are currently taking part in another interventional clinical trial, or who have received an experimental drug or used an experimental medical device within the past four weeks
- People who have previously been treated with certain types of immunotherapy drugs that target the immune system's T-cell pathways (such as anti-PD-1, anti-PD-L1, or anti-PD-L2 drugs)
- People who have received certain traditional Chinese medicines with anti-cancer indications, or drugs that affect the immune system, within the past two weeks
- People whose blood, liver, kidney, or blood clotting test results are outside of normal ranges
- People who have had abnormal function in any major organ within the 14 days before joining the trial
- People who are pregnant
- People who are unable or unwilling to understand and sign a written consent form (this may include a legally authorised representative signing on their behalf)
