Cancer Arm (for people with pancreatic cancer):

  • People between 40 and 75 years old
  • People who have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer through clinical assessment and/or laboratory/tissue testing
  • People who have not received, and are not currently receiving, any cancer treatments — including surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, or similar treatments
  • People who are able to give written consent and are willing to follow all study procedures

Benign Disease Arm (for people with non-cancerous pancreatic conditions):

  • People between 40 and 75 years old
  • People who have been diagnosed with a non-cancerous pancreatic condition, such as pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia, pancreatic cysts, or chronic pancreatitis
  • People who have not received, and are not currently receiving, any cancer treatments — including surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, or similar treatments
  • People who are able to give written consent and are willing to follow all study procedures

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
  • People who have been diagnosed with any other type of cancer, either in the past or currently
  • People who have had a severe infection (such as severe COVID-19 or sepsis) or a fever of 38.0°C or higher in the 14 days before the blood sample is taken
  • People who have received an organ transplant, bone marrow transplant, or stem cell transplant at any point
  • People who have received a blood transfusion within the 30 days before the blood sample is taken
  • People who have taken certain medications in the 14 days before the blood sample is taken — including oral or intravenous antibiotics, steroids (glucocorticoids), or specific other drugs such as azacitidine, decitabine, procainamide, hydrazine, or arsenic trioxide
  • People whom the trial investigators determine are not suitable for other reasons (confirm with trial site)
