Who might be able to join this trial:

• Adults aged 18 or older who have been diagnosed with long-term nerve pain caused by a peripheral nerve injury, where the pain is ongoing or recurring, started after a nerve injury, and is felt in the area that nerve controls
• People whose pain improved by at least 50% after receiving a diagnostic nerve block injection at the suspected pain site
• People who have continued to experience pain despite trying conservative (non-surgical) treatments for at least 12 weeks
• People who have been on a stable dose of pain medications for at least 30 days and are willing to avoid starting new pain medications for three weeks after joining the trial
• People whose worst pain rates at least 5 out of 10 on a standard 0–10 pain scale at the affected nerve site
• People who speak English
• People who are able and willing to complete online and phone-based assessments throughout the trial

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are unable to complete assessments due to educational, cognitive, mental, or medical reasons
• People who have a cancer diagnosis, an active cancer (whether spread or local), or signs of a cancer-related nerve condition
• People with widespread nerve pain affecting multiple nerves due to causes such as metabolic conditions, autoimmune disease, infection, toxic exposure, or certain medications
• People with long-term nerve pain originating in the brain or spinal cord, such as from spinal cord injury, brain injury, or multiple sclerosis
• People with peripheral vascular disease (reduced blood flow to the limbs)
• People with diabetic nerve pain (diabetic neuropathy)
• People who already have another active implanted medical device, such as a heart defibrillator, spinal cord stimulator, deep brain stimulator, or similar device
• People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant
• People with an active infection throughout the body or a local infection at the area where treatment would be applied
• People who have had an interventional procedure or surgery for their nerve pain within the last 30 days — or within the last 3 months if the prior procedure involved a nerve ablation (destruction) treatment
• People who have epilepsy
• People who have metal implants in the area of the body where treatment would be delivered
