Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are able to understand and willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study.
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You are able to carry out basic daily activities and care for yourself, with at most some limitations (confirm with trial site).
- Your cancer has been confirmed by a tissue or cell sample to be a specific type of pancreatic cancer called adenocarcinoma.
- Your pancreatic cancer is in its original location and you have not yet received major cancer treatments.
- Your cancer has either spread to nearby tissues and cannot be removed by surgery, or has spread to other parts of the body.
- You have at least one tumour that can be measured on a scan, according to standard measurement guidelines.
- Your doctor expects you to live for at least 3 months.
- Your liver, kidneys, and other organs are working well enough, based on blood test results.
- You are willing and able to follow the study schedule and procedures.
Who may not be able to join:
- You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
- You have already received chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or other cancer treatments.
- Your pathology (tissue test) results show your cancer is not the adenocarcinoma type of pancreatic cancer.
- You have inflammation in your digestive system, such as pancreatitis, gallbladder inflammation, or bile duct inflammation.
- You have serious ongoing health conditions that are not well controlled and could affect how the study is run or its results.
- You have had a heart attack, stroke, or similar cardiovascular or brain-related event (confirm with trial site).
- You are allergic to the medicines being used in this trial.
- You have other serious health problems that, in the doctor's opinion, could make the treatment unsafe for you.
