Who may be able to join
- People who are able to give written consent that is signed and dated.
- Adults aged 18 to 75 years.
- People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities meets a specific performance standard (ECOG score of 0 or 1 — confirm with trial site).

- For Part A (dose escalation phase only): People whose cancer has returned or stopped responding to at least one previous treatment for NSCLC, or who could not tolerate that treatment.
- For Part B (dose expansion phase only): People who have at least one area of cancer that can be measured on scans according to standard criteria (RECIST 1.1).
- For Part B (dose expansion phase only): People who have not previously received systemic (whole-body) treatment for advanced disease.
- For Part B (dose expansion phase only): People whose cancer shows a specific protein marker called PD-L1 at 50% or higher (Cohort 1), or between 1% and 49% (Cohort 2).
Who may not be able to join
Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.
- People whose cancer has been confirmed by laboratory testing to be a mix of non-small-cell and small-cell lung cancer.
- People with active cancer spread to the brain or the lining around the brain and spinal cord (carcinomatous meningitis).
- People who have had another cancer diagnosed within the past 5 years.
- People who have had an organ transplant or a stem cell transplant at any time.
- People with serious decline in lung function or a lung condition called interstitial lung disease that has needed steroid treatment taken by mouth or through a drip.
- People with an active autoimmune disease (where the immune system attacks the body) that has needed ongoing medical treatment within the past 2 years.
- People with a weakened immune system, or who have been treated with immune-suppressing medicines (including steroid tablets or injections) within 7 days before the first dose of the study treatment.
- People with active infections.
- People with a significant heart condition.
- People with other serious or uncontrolled health conditions, as assessed by the trial doctors.
- For Part A (dose escalation phase only): People who have received certain immune-based cancer therapies (anti-PD-1, anti-PD-L1, anti-PD-L2, anti-CD137, or CTLA-4, OX-40, or CD137 treatments) within the 4 weeks before joining.
- For Part B (dose expansion phase only): People who have received any prior systemic (whole-body) anti-cancer therapy.
- For Part B (dose expansion phase only): People who have previously received any immune-based cancer therapy, including anti-PD-1, anti-PD-L1, anti-PD-L2, anti-CD137, or CTLA-4, OX-40, or CD137 treatments.
