- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You are generally able to carry out daily activities, with little or no limitation due to your illness (confirm with trial site)
- You have been diagnosed with a specific type of colon cancer (adenocarcinoma) confirmed by a tissue sample, and your cancer has a particular genetic feature called dMMR, confirmed by laboratory testing
- Your tumor is located in a specific part of the large bowel — the cecum, ascending colon, transverse colon, or sigmoid colon

- You have not yet received any treatment for this cancer, including chemotherapy or surgery
- Your liver, kidneys, and other organs are working well enough to handle chemotherapy and surgery

Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with another type of cancer in the past 5 years (with some exceptions, such as certain fully treated skin, cervical, prostate, or breast cancers — confirm with trial site)
- You have a complication such as a bowel blockage, a hole in the bowel, or significant bleeding that requires emergency surgery, or you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have a history of severe mental illness, an immune system condition, or you take steroid/hormone medications
- There is a medical reason why immunotherapy or surgery would not be safe for you
