Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are male or female and are 70 years of age or older
- You have been diagnosed with multiple myeloma (a type of blood cancer)
- You are well enough to carry out some or all of your daily activities (ranging from fully active to limited self-care ability)
- You are about to start your first or second round of treatment for your condition
- You are willing to take part in a health monitoring program called ICOPE MONITOR
- You (or a caregiver) are able to use a smartphone, tablet, or computer to access an app or chatbot
- Your doctor expects you to live for more than 3 months
- You (or a caregiver) can understand, read, and speak French
- You are covered by French social security or an equivalent scheme
- You are able to give your free, informed, and written agreement to take part in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently receiving palliative (end-of-life comfort) care
- You are already taking part in another study that focuses on preventing frailty
- You are not able to understand what the study involves
- You are under a form of legal protection such as guardianship or court-appointed supervision
- You do not wish to take part in the trial
