Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who have had any surgery in the last 3 months.
- People who have a personal history of inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis).
- People who have a personal history of irregular heartbeats or problems with the heart's electrical system.
- People with a history of alcohol or drug misuse.
- People who regularly use opioid pain medications or benzodiazepine (sedative/anxiety) medications.
- People who experience serious complications during surgery (confirm with trial site).
- People whose surgery lasts longer than 5 hours.
