Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 18 and 65 years old
• You have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder (such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, or a specific phobia), PTSD, OCD, or an adjustment disorder involving anxiety
• You are currently looking for or receiving mental health treatment
• You are able to read and understand a consent form and agree to take part
• English is your first language or the main language you speak fluently

Who may not be able to join:

• You have a moderate or severe alcohol or drug use problem (as defined by standard medical guidelines)
• You have ever been diagnosed with a psychotic disorder or bipolar disorder with mania
• You have a seizure disorder that would make brain stimulation or brain recording unsafe
• You have ever had a traumatic brain injury that caused you to lose consciousness
• You have a brain-related condition that gets worse over time, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, or a similar condition
• You have a health condition that would make it very uncomfortable to sit or lie still for long periods of time
• You have any health reasons that would prevent you from having an MRI scan
• You have metal anywhere in your body
• You are currently pregnant
• You experience severe anxiety in enclosed spaces (claustrophobia)
• You are particularly sensitive to loud noises
• You have a medical condition or take treatments that increase your risk of having a seizure
• You have a history of severe brain injury
• You have a history of seizures or epilepsy
• You are currently taking certain medications, including anticholinergic drugs, antipsychotic medications, or sleeping/sedative medications (confirm with trial site if you are unsure whether your medication falls into these categories)
• You are currently taking opiate-based medications or substances on a regular basis
• You are currently taking naltrexone
• Note: certain medications such as SSRIs, cholinesterase inhibitors, or NMDA receptor antagonists may be allowed if you have been on a stable dose for at least four weeks before joining the trial (confirm with trial site)
