Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have a cardiac pacemaker
• People currently receiving or expected to receive diathermy treatment (a type of heat-based therapy)
• People with severe alcohol, drug, or medication dependency issues

• People for whom placement of a spinal electrode on the back would not be possible for medical reasons
• People with a condition affecting the spinal cord in the back (dorsal myelopathy)
