Who might be able to join this trial:
- Men and women who are over 18 years old
- People who have a cyst on their pancreas that has been assessed as high risk and needs to be removed by surgery
- People who are able to understand and agree to take part in the study by giving informed consent
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have already been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer
- People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who are unable or unwilling to have a scan, for example due to anxiety or claustrophobia
- People who are unable to lie flat or meet the standard requirements for a traditional MRI scan
- People whose liver is not working well enough, based on blood tests taken within the past 6 weeks — this includes having certain liver-related blood test results that are too high or too low (confirm with trial site)
- People whose kidneys are not working well enough, based on blood tests taken within the past 6 weeks (confirm with trial site)
- People with certain heart conditions, including heart failure of a certain severity, poorly controlled high blood pressure, a significant history of abnormal heart rhythm readings, or a heart attack within the past 6 months
