Experimental group (people affected by cancer-related nerve symptoms):
- Adults aged 18 and older who have been diagnosed with a cancer that is not in the brain or spinal cord, received treatment for it, and are now experiencing nerve-related symptoms (such as numbness, tingling, or pain in the hands or feet).
Control group (comparison group without nerve symptoms):
- People who are within one year of age and the same gender as someone in the experimental group, have not been diagnosed with nerve damage or nerve-related symptoms, and have no diagnosed thinking or memory-related symptoms.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable to follow a two-step instruction (confirm with trial site).
- People who cannot walk at least 50 feet on their own without using a walking aid such as a cane or walker.
- People who are unable to use a mobile phone to send text messages.
- People who have been diagnosed with nerve damage caused by diabetes.
- People who have been diagnosed with a cancer of the brain or spinal cord.
- People who are unable to speak or understand English.
