- People who have had thoughts of suicide in the past week and/or have made a suicide attempt in the past 30 days
- People who are able to understand and complete the consent process to participate in the study
- People who own an Apple iPhone running iOS 11 or newer, or an Android smartphone running OS 8.1 or newer
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable to complete the consent process at the time of enrollment — for example, due to acute intoxication or altered consciousness
- People who are currently experiencing active psychosis or mania that requires hospitalisation
- People who are unable to use a smartphone
