Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older at the time of registration
- People who have been diagnosed with relapsed Multiple Myeloma (myeloma that has come back after treatment), based on recognised international diagnostic standards
- People whose treating doctor agrees to take part in the study
- People who are already scheduled to have a bone marrow biopsy or tumour biopsy as part of their normal care
- People who are willing to take part and able to sign a consent form
- People who are not currently enrolled in another clinical trial that uses systemic (whole-body) treatment aimed at controlling Multiple Myeloma
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a known diagnosis of AL amyloidosis, Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia, POEMS syndrome, or Castleman's disease
- People who have been diagnosed with a cancer other than myeloma, or a skin cancer (specifically squamous cell or basal cell carcinoma), that is either currently active or was treated within the last 2 years
- People whose tumour sample is not suitable or available for laboratory analysis (for example, because the sample does not contain enough tumour cells)
- People who are not expected to receive systemic treatment directed at Multiple Myeloma within the 2 months following their tumour biopsy
