Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (based on American Diabetes Association 2021 guidelines)
- People of any sex
- People between 18 and 75 years of age
- People classified as moderate to high risk for developing diabetic foot problems, according to a specific international diabetic foot risk scale (IWGDF-2019) (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are pregnant

- People diagnosed with cancer, or who have received cancer treatment within the past 3 months
- People who have experienced unstable chest pain, a recent heart attack, or serious heart rhythm problems within the past 6 months
- People with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (a serious lung condition) that is not well controlled
- People who are unable to understand the informed consent form
- People who are unable to attend appointments on a regular basis
