Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old (any gender)
  • You have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer confirmed by a tissue sample (biopsy or surgery), and you had surgery to remove the cancer within the last 12 weeks before joining the trial

  • You have a known allergy to Huaier granules or have been advised to avoid them (applies to those choosing Huaier granules)
  • You have an active condition such as gastrointestinal bleeding, a hole in your stomach or bowel, or a stomach that does not empty properly, making it hard to take medication by mouth
  • You have a serious mental health condition or another reason the research team feels makes participation unsuitable
  • You have a history of any other type of cancer
  • You have had a heart attack, stroke, or a serious blood clot condition that required surgery
  • You currently have a severe infection
  • You have significantly reduced liver or kidney function (confirm with trial site)
  • You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant
  • You have received certain anti-cancer herbal medicines, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy in the past 4 weeks before joining (confirm with trial site for the full list of medicines this includes)
