Patients:
- Adults aged 18 or older
- People who have been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer (stage III or stage IV) of the type called non-small cell lung cancer
- People who are able to move around independently and take care of themselves day-to-day

Who may not be able to join

Patients:
- People who are preparing to have lung surgery
- People with fragile or weakened bones
- People who have a serious active infection
- People who are unable to walk
- People who have brain metastases (cancer that has spread to the brain) that have not yet been treated and are causing symptoms
- People with severe breathing difficulties
- People whose pain is not currently under control
- People who have been diagnosed with a psychiatric illness, whether or not they are taking medication for it
Family caregivers:
- People who are unable to speak or read Chinese
- People who are unwilling to complete questionnaires about how they are feeling
