Who may be able to join

  • Adults aged 18 years or older
  • People with a confirmed Multiple Sclerosis (MS) diagnosis based on the 2017 McDonald's revised criteria
  • People with a disability score (EDSS) between 0 and 6.5 (confirm with trial site)
  • People with a fatigue score of 43 or higher on a scale called the MFIS
  • People who are able to walk, with or without walking aids
  • People who own a personal smartphone running iOS version 14 or higher (iPhone) or Android version 8 or higher

  • People who are enrolled in a social security system
  • People who have signed a free and informed consent form
  • People who have agreed to wear a small activity-tracking device for the entire duration of the study
  • People who have been on a stable MS treatment (disease-modifying therapy) for at least 6 months

Who may not be able to join

Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.

  • People with a psychiatric disorder, major vision problems, or significant cognitive difficulties, as assessed by the investigator
  • People who have taken part in an exercise reconditioning program at a rehabilitation centre within the 6 weeks before joining the study
  • People with major other health conditions that could affect fatigue management, such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or chronic fatigue syndrome
  • People with a history of heart-related events
  • People who had an abnormal heart examination at their most recent medical check-up
  • People who experience palpitations, a racing heart, or an irregular heartbeat
  • People who experience cramp-like pain in the lower legs while walking that disappears when they stop, unless this is known to be caused by MS-related pain
  • People who experience chest pain
  • People who experience shortness of breath while at rest, including when lying down
  • People who experience shortness of breath during light exercise or everyday activities
  • People who experience pain, discomfort, or heaviness in the chest at rest or during physical activity
  • People with an unstable metabolic disease
  • People with an unstable kidney (renal) disease
  • People with any other uncontrolled chronic illness
  • People who experience ankle swelling
  • People who experience dizziness or fainting episodes
  • People who have received fampridine, corticosteroid therapy, or therapeutic cannabis within the 2 months before joining the study
  • People who use psychoactive substances and/or alcohol in a way that the investigator believes could affect test results
  • People who are confined to bed or whose daily activity is less than 2 hours
  • People who are under legal guardianship or curatorship
  • Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People who have participated in another clinical study within the 30 days before being considered for this trial, or who are currently in another study that the investigator believes could interfere with this one
