Who might be able to join this trial:

• People with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or a condition called multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2
• People with severely reduced kidney function (as measured by a specific kidney test result within the last 12 months)
• People with significant diabetes-related eye disease or a stomach-emptying condition called gastroparesis, as assessed by the trial investigator
• People who have had bariatric (weight loss) surgery within the last 6 months
• People with a serious medical or psychiatric condition that the investigator believes would interfere with taking part in the study (for example, liver cirrhosis, active cancer, or poorly controlled schizophrenia)
• People with a body mass index (BMI) of 21 or below
• People who the study team believes are unable or unwilling to manage their diabetes safely (for example, not treating low blood sugar episodes appropriately)
