Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You have been diagnosed with a stomach condition called Functional Dyspepsia and/or Chronic Nausea and Vomiting Syndrome, based on a standard set of medical criteria called Rome IV
- You have been referred to have a scan that checks how quickly your stomach empties food (called gastric emptying scintigraphy)
- You have had a camera test of your stomach (gastroscopy) that came back normal
- You have either tested negative for a stomach bacteria called H. Pylori, or you have already been treated for it
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have a history of severe skin allergies or strong reactions to cosmetics or lotions
- You have skin on your upper abdomen that is chronically damaged, fragile, wounded, or inflamed
- You are unable to lie in a relaxed, reclined position for the full duration of the test
