Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a history of another neurological condition besides Parkinson's disease, including epilepsy
  • You are pregnant or trying to become pregnant
  • You have health conditions that make exercise unsafe for you, based on answers to a standard health questionnaire called the PARQ+
  • You currently smoke cigarettes or use any tobacco products
  • You have a pacemaker or any other medical device implanted in your body
  • You have been hospitalized for a mental health or psychological condition within the last 5 years
  • You have a breathing or lung condition, such as COPD, asthma, or high blood pressure in the lungs
  • You have a metabolic condition such as type 1 or type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, chronic kidney disease, or liver problems
  • You have a kidney condition, a heart condition, or a history of stroke or cancer
  • You have blacked out, fainted, or lost consciousness due to a head injury, or been diagnosed with a concussion in the last 12 months
  • You take medication that affects how your heart and blood vessels respond to exercise (confirm with trial site)
  • You scored below 17 on a telephone-based memory and thinking test called the TICS-30 (confirm with trial site)
  • You currently live outside of the United States
