Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged between 18 and 75 years old
  • People who have been diagnosed with a confirmed cancer of the lung, liver, pancreas, or retroperitoneal area (the space at the back of the abdomen)
  • People with metastatic cancer where the cancer has spread to only a limited number of sites (called oligometastasis)
  • People whose tumour is either at least 2cm in its shortest measurement, or is located less than 5mm away from a nearby organ

  • People who have previously had radiotherapy treatment on the same area being studied
  • People who have had another cancer diagnosis within the past 5 years
  • People whose daily activity is significantly limited due to their condition (an ECOG score of 2 or higher)
  • People with significantly abnormal blood test results, or liver, kidney, or blood clotting function
  • People with active inflammatory bowel disease, if the cancer involved is in the pancreas or retroperitoneal area
  • People who have experienced gastrointestinal bleeding or a bowel perforation within the last 6 months, if the cancer involved is in the pancreas or retroperitoneal area
  • People who currently have an infection that requires antibiotic treatment
  • People with significant heart or breathing problems
  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
