Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults who are 18 years of age or older
- People who are willing to give their formal agreement to participate in the trial
- People who are scheduled to receive a chemotherapy drug called paclitaxel either before or after their main cancer treatment
- People who are able to speak and understand Danish
- People who have been diagnosed with breast cancer

- People who have type 1 or type 2 diabetes
- People who are currently pregnant
- People who are currently breastfeeding
- People whose cancer has come back after previous treatment
- People who have been diagnosed with HIV
- People who are already taking part in another clinical trial that changes the dose of paclitaxel, aims to prevent nerve pain, or aims to reduce a specific protein level in the blood — unless that other trial only involves the use of cooling gloves
- People who have previously been treated with chemotherapy that is known to cause nerve damage
- People who have ongoing, long-term pain from another condition
- People whose cancer has spread to other parts of the body
