- Men and women over 35 years of age who have been diagnosed with resistant high blood pressure (blood pressure that remains high despite treatment), as defined by current medical guidelines

- People with a history of stroke or blood circulation problems in the legs, kidney disease, liver disease, smoking, autoimmune diseases, or use of illegal substances
- People with any other health condition that the researcher believes could affect the study results or the person's safety
- Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study
- People who are currently taking part in another research study
- People with severe depression or other significant mental health conditions
