Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 19 and 65 years old.
• If you are in the Parkinson's group, you have been officially diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease by a doctor.
• You score 20 or above on a depression questionnaire called the Beck Depression Inventory, which indicates elevated levels of depression.
• You are able and willing to travel to the Psychology Department for brain monitoring (EEG) and brain stimulation (tDCS) sessions.
• If you have had surgery to implant a Deep Brain Stimulation device, you may still be eligible if your doctor approves and monitors your participation.
• You can read and understand spoken English.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have a history of epilepsy or seizure disorders, or who are currently being treated for one.
• People who have had a serious penetrating head injury or a moderate-to-severe traumatic brain injury (a mild traumatic brain injury may be acceptable — confirm with trial site).
• People who have been diagnosed with an atypical form of Parkinson's Disease (a condition that resembles Parkinson's but has a different cause — confirm with trial site if you are unsure which type you have).
