Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older at the time of signing consent.
- People who are in generally good functional condition, rated 0 or 1 on a standard oncology scale (meaning fully active or able to carry out light work).
- People with a confirmed diagnosis of pancreatic adenocarcinoma (a specific type of pancreatic cancer) that cannot be fully removed by surgery, is on the borderline of being removable, or has spread to other parts of the body — specifically the "basal-like" or "classical" subtypes.
- People who are willing and able to follow the study procedures, as judged by the study doctor.
- People who provide written consent to participate and agree to allow their personal health information to be shared as required.
- People who agree to have a biopsy taken before the study starts, if stored tissue samples are not available or sufficient.
- People who have previously received standard neoadjuvant (pre-surgery) therapy, or up to two cycles of a chemotherapy regimen called FOLFIRINOX or NALIRIFOX.
- People who previously had cancer that spread to the brain may be considered, provided their brain metastasis treatment finished at least 4 weeks before starting the study, they have been off steroid medications for at least 2 weeks, and they have no current symptoms related to brain metastasis.
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose cancer cannot be measured using standard imaging criteria (called RECIST v1.1).
- People who do not have a confirmed laboratory diagnosis of metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
- People who have received any experimental drug or any cancer treatment within 28 days before the study treatment start date.
