Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 75 or older who have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease according to recognised Movement Disorders Society guidelines (2015)
- People who have also received a clinical diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease
- People whose Parkinson's disease medications have been at a stable dose for less than 3 months

Who may not be able to join:
- People under the age of 75
- People who are not willing to sign a consent form

- People with significant behavioural difficulties that would prevent an MRI scan from being completed properly
- People who are unable to receive or understand information about the study, or who cannot participate in the full study
- People diagnosed with a related but different type of movement disorder, such as Lewy body disease, progressive supranuclear palsy, multisystem atrophy, or cortico-basal degeneration
- People who have a standard reason they cannot have an MRI scan, such as claustrophobia or certain metal implants or devices in the body
- People with a history of high-level horse riding, animal phobias, or who wish to withdraw from the study (confirm with trial site for full details on this criterion)
- People who are not affiliated with a social security scheme
- People whose Parkinson's disease medications have not been at a stable dose for at least 3 months
- People who are under a legal protective arrangement such as guardianship, curatorship, or family guardianship, or for whom a future protection mandate has been activated
